Our store and these terms

These terms apply to purchases through the Knot on Main Street online storefront. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Knot on Main Street at the address below. Our store brings together merchandise from independent dealers; contact the store directly for assistance with an online order. The Shipping & Pickup Policy and Return & Refund Policy form part of these sale terms. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling.

You must be at least 18, or otherwise have legal capacity and any required authorization, to place an order. Supply accurate contact and fulfillment information and use a payment method you are authorized to use. These terms apply to the extent permitted by law and do not remove mandatory consumer protections.

One-of-a-kind merchandise and descriptions

Much of our stock is antique, vintage, used, or collectible. Review the listing and photographs carefully. Measurements are approximate unless expressly stated otherwise, and screens may display colors differently. Ask about condition, materials, repairs, provenance, or intended use before buying. Statements about age, maker, or provenance should be read with any qualifications in the listing; we remain responsible for express descriptions and promises we make.

Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, historic electrical items, lighting, toys, and food-contact or other specialty objects have not been certified by us to meet current safety standards or a particular functional use. Have an appropriately qualified professional assess them before that use. Do not assume a decorative or collectible object is suitable for a child, food use, or electrical operation.

Availability and order acceptance

Listings and cart reservations are subject to stock verification. A reservation expires, and placing an item in a cart does not complete a purchase. An automated order acknowledgment confirms receipt of your request, not a guarantee that a unique item is still available. We confirm availability and fulfillment after reviewing the order.

We may decline or cancel an unfulfilled order for unavailable stock, a material pricing or listing error, failed payment, reasonably suspected fraud, a shipping restriction, or another lawful reason. We will explain the problem when appropriate and promptly void or refund amounts for canceled items. We will not raise an agreed price or substitute merchandise without your consent. These provisions do not permit cancellation to avoid an obligation imposed by law.

Prices and payments

Prices are in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes, shipping, and handling are displayed before payment. Accepted payment methods are those actually offered at checkout. Payment may begin with an authorization hold and be captured when the order is prepared or fulfilled; your bank controls how long a hold remains visible. We may request reasonable verification before releasing an order. Do not send card numbers or security codes by email, phone message, or feedback.

A page clearly marked as a test or sandbox checkout does not represent a live card charge or a promise to fulfill a simulated order. Only use test payment information in a sandbox.

Delivery, pickup, and returns

The Shipping & Pickup Policy explains shipping eligibility, 3–5 business-day preparation, delays, and the 7-day pickup window after a ready notice. Change-of-mind purchases are final sale, subject to the specific exceptions and remedies in our Return & Refund Policy. Those policies and any more protective item-specific written promise disclosed before purchase govern your order.

Warranties and responsibility

We do not provide a separate written product warranty unless one is expressly included with the item. Age and used condition alone do not remove express promises, applicable implied warranties, or other rights required by law. Nothing here excludes responsibility for fraud, intentional misconduct, injury, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or error-free; report an order or payment error so we can investigate.

Permitted use and website content

You may use the website to browse and make legitimate purchases. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with checkout, submit malicious content, misuse another person’s information, or create fraudulent orders. We may restrict abusive use while honoring existing lawful obligations. Product photos, text, branding, and other content belong to their respective owners; browsing does not grant permission to commercially reproduce them. Links to other sites do not make us responsible for those sites’ content or practices.

Questions and disputes

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern, but doing so is not a condition of exercising a legal right or meeting a card-issuer deadline. Florida law governs these terms to the extent it does not displace mandatory protections that apply where you live. You retain access to courts with lawful jurisdiction, including eligible small-claims proceedings, and to regulators and card-issuer remedies. These terms do not require binding arbitration or waive class-action rights.

Policy changes and accessibility

The terms and disclosed policies in effect when you place an order govern that order. Later changes apply prospectively unless a change is required by law or separately agreed. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent lawful.
